What exactly is loden? The color’s name comes from the German Loden, a course thick woolen fabric. In the original German, Loden does not necessarily refer to a color, but due to the wool of the mountain sheep, the color tends to be an earth color—somewhere between green and brown.
The Loden suede pairs well with the dark chocolate welts, while the brass eyelets offer a touch of contrast.
